Ian completed his first degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada in 2002, obtaining a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (pre-professional architecture). Throughout this period of studies, Ian also gained technical and construction experience from offices in Canada, the USA and the Netherlands. Ian completed his Masters degree in 2004, which received Commendations from the University of Waterloo.
Since graduating, Ian has worked as an adjunct lecturer to a fourth-year architecture studio in Rome. He also entered private practice in Glasgow where he worked on social housing, masterplanning and a major urban study for Glasgow City Council.
Ian joined macmon in 2006 as a project architect and is currently running the Dundee Medical Centre and the Craigshill Learning Disability Centre in Livingston. |
