The Birnam Institute is a community hall in Perthshire which provides the local community with high quality facilities including a multi purpose community hall seating 250 people and suitable for a wide range of performing arts, a Beatrix Potter visitor centre, exhibition space, a café, internet facilities, the local library and community rooms.
The building is highly commended by staff, local people and visitors alike and received a Civic Trust Award in 2003 and a Dynamic Place Award in 2001.
