The picturesque village of Gartmore is located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
The existing village hall, in the shape of a 1847 Free Church building, has become inadequate for the needs of the local community.
macmon has carried out an extensive community consultation which has highlighted requirements for a new facility that would provide the following:
· a multi functional space
· a café
· a Rural Arts venue
· a small business support service
· meeting/conference/function facilities
The new/refurbished building will be energy efficient and aim to set an example of sustainability to the rest of the community.
It will also allow residents to consider alternative opportunities to contribute to the growth of the local economy.
