This inner city housing development undertook the refurbishment and alteration of the existing post office building located in the centre of Aberdeen. The existing complex was partly demolished and these parts replaced with a new four and five storey high flats and maisonette accommodation. The architectural strategy, for infill elements, was to adopt a minimal façade model, which complemented, and allowed free expression of, the more elaborate baronial style of the surroundings. New build elements were constructed in timber frame and clad in granite.
