We are providing architectural services in respect of the re-development of the Woodilee Hospital in Lenzie. Our appointment is divided over three areas comprising new build business office area, refurbishment of listed buildings and provision of affordable housing and crèche facilities.
The business area comprises three purpose built office buildings of 860sq.m each. The brief is to provide flexible office accommodation over two levels, utilising a single stair access.
The buildings have been designed to utilise natural ventilation, maximise natural daylight and incorporate high thermal mass in the floors and ceilings to absorb heat gains. External louvers have been incorporated to further assist solar control and energy efficiency will also be improved through photocell control of light fittings.
