In March 2009, Gartmore Association was successful in securing funding to appoint a Regeneration Consultant and Design Team to undertake community consultation, generate alternative options and produce a Business Plan and designs for the new Gartmore Village Hall as the existing building is no longer fit for purpose.
The new facility is to improve the quality of life for local residents, support the arts amongst the local community and contribute to the growth of the local economy. It also has to be both economically and environmentally sustainable.
