18/06/2010Tayside healthcare scheme achieves financial closure
NHS Tayside and the North of Scotland Planning Group’s Tayside Acute Adult Mental Health Developments scheme has reached financial closure.
Robertson Capital Projects is backing the construction of the £95.4m project which has been awarded to Morgan Sindall’s construction and infrastructure division.
The redevelopment of the Murray Royal Hospital site in Perth will create 183 new beds and is scheduled to be completed in April 2013 whilst there will be 52 additional beds at the Stracathro Hospital in Brechin, due for completion in September 2011.
macmon is designing two new builds on the Perth site, a Secure Care Day Hospital and a Secure Care Clinic. The latter will provide 32 medium secure care beds and 35 low secure care beds with shared facilities. Both buildings will serve the whole north of Scotland.
